Why we built Odin
Most people do not fail interviews because they lack the skill or experience. They fail because their answers are unstructured and unpracticed. Odin exists to fix that.
Our mission
Walking into an interview, talented people freeze, ramble, or bury their best stories under filler. The gap is rarely competence. It is the absence of deliberate practice. Athletes rehearse. Musicians rehearse. Yet for one of the highest-stakes conversations of a career, most people show up cold.
Odin makes deliberate, voice-first interview practice accessible to anyone. You speak your answers out loud, just like you would in the room, and you get specific, structured feedback you can act on before it counts. The goal is simple: turn nerves into reps, and reps into a skill you keep.
How Odin works
You record spoken answers to real interview questions. Odin transcribes what you said and scores it against the STAR framework, looking at whether you set the Situation, named the Task, described the Action you took, and made the Result concrete. Instead of a vague grade, you see where an answer was strong and where it drifted.
From there Odin asks adaptive follow-ups, the way a real interviewer probes a thin answer, and tailors mock sessions to your resume and the job description you are targeting. Every session is built to be repeatable, because improvement comes from doing it again better.
This is a deliberate design choice. Odin is a practice coach, not an in-interview copilot. We do not believe in feeding you answers through an earpiece while you are live in a conversation. That does not build skill, and it does not survive contact with a sharp interviewer. Practice does. The point is that by the time it matters, you do not need help.
Who builds Odin
Odin is founder-led, built by Emre Baş along with people who have sat on both sides of the interview table, as candidates sweating the answers and as interviewers watching good people undersell themselves. That perspective shapes every part of the product, from the feedback wording to the questions we ask.
We are building Odin in active development and early access. That means it is honest and unfinished in equal measure: we ship improvements often, we read the feedback, and we would rather tell you what Odin is than dress it up as something it is not yet. If something feels off, tell us. It probably means we have more work to do.
What we believe
A practice tool, not a shortcut
Odin helps you rehearse and improve before the interview. We are honest about what we are: a place to build durable skill, not a way to game a live conversation.
Your recordings are yours
Your voice answers and resume exist to give you feedback, nothing more. We do not sell your data or use your recordings for marketing.
No gimmicks
Clear scoring, plain-language feedback, and real follow-up questions. We would rather earn trust slowly than promise outcomes we cannot guarantee.
